How Can severe Pain In The Chest And Throat Be Treated?

what causes a sensation that starts in the jaw area and spreads down my throat with a squeezing sensation ,into my chest...causing pain in my teeth and sometimes my ears. I never know when I ll get this sensation... Could be every couple months or weeks apart. I do have Barretts. When I get these sensations I am out of commission until they subside feeling sick and an agonizing pain. Ive had this for many years.

Hi,

These are secondary to underlying Barretts esophagus with repeated irritation via stomach acid. Supportive care with proton pump inhibitor, muscle relaxant, decongestant and strictly followed diet chart. Latest development suggest use of monoclonal antibodies to cover the issue more precisely.
